Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1970. His family, along with many other Brooklyn families seeking greener pastures, moved to Staten Island in 1974. Mr. Parisi became a product of a top New York City school district followed by his attendance at Moore Catholic High School. After graduating in 1988, Mr. Parisi was offered an academic scholarship to the University of Miami, and enrolled in the Honors Program in the Fall of 1988. He completed his course of study in May 1992, having achieved his Bachelor of Arts, with Honors. In the Fall of 1993, Mr. Parisi enrolled in the Juris Doctor program at Albany Law School in New York. During his three years as a law student, Mr. Parisi became employed at the State Capitol for State Senator John J. Marchi, who ultimately represented his home borough of Staten Island for a record term of fifty (50) years. Mr. Parisi also remained active in Albany Law’s Moot Court program, and Internship programs, having successfully completed internships in the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, and on-campus Litigation Clinic in which members of the local community were represented in various matters by law students, such as unemployment board hearings, free of charge. Mr. Parisi obtained successful results for these clients in such matters.
After graduation, Mr. Parisi passed the New York Bar Exam and the New Jersey Bar Exam in 1996. He became employed with the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office the same year, where he would remain until December, 2000. During his service as an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Parisi prosecuted all types of misdemeanors, gaining valuable trial experience, leading to his promotion to the Supreme Court Narcotics Bureau in 1998. There, Mr. Parisi presented hundreds of felony narcotics cases to the Grand Jury and gained experience in the trial of felonies. Before ending his years of public service, Mr. Parisi headed an undercover investigation of a high-level narcotics ring which led to the arrest and life-sentence convictions of several high ranking drug dealers contaminating the streets of Staten Island.
Mr. Parisi relocated to South Florida in December, 2000. He quickly passed the Bar Exam in the Fall of 2001 and was admitted to practice law later that year. He became employed with a Hollywood based law firm handling the defense of no-fault (PIP) insurance claims. There, Mr. Parisi became familiar with the methods employed by insurance companies in the evaluation and denial of medical claims. Over time, however, Mr. Parisi witnessed the abuses of the powerful insurance industry who would oftentimes find ways to unfairly deny or delay payment on legitimate claims.
With this, in 2003, Mr. Parisi moved his practice away from defending the insurance companies and toward representing claimants and plaintiffs involved in insurance disputes. He has continued to represent claimants ever since. Since opening his own firm in 2007, Mr. Parisi has been representing seriously injured victims of negligence. He has also put his years of public service as a prosecutor to good use by representing indigent criminal defendants in the role as a Special Public Defender. He now takes on both court-appointed cases and is available for retainer on a private basis.
Mr. Parisi resides in Pompano Beach and maintains an office in Fort Lauderdale. He is a local family man: a husband and father of two young boys. He prides himself on being a gentleman in a field filled with arrogance. He is committed to providing top quality legal representation to his clients by keeping a smaller caseload than most other firms, maintaining accessibility to his clients, and by giving each and every case the individual attention it deserves. He strongly believes in this model given the gratitude displayed by his clients time and again, following successful results.
